Educational goals The objectives of the study field of "Teaching of Informatics for primary and secondary schools" are obtaining broad theoretical and practical knowledge of computer science, pedagogy and psychology, including the specific expertise that enable application outside of pedagogical practice. Field courses are designed to enable an integrated view of the didactic and educational problems, with which teacher-computer scientist in the school meets. Next to the profile subjects are taught as subjects, which can also take advantage of graduates as professionals-corporate practice. This includes, for example. Computer networks, security of information systems, Methods of artificial intelligence, system programming, the creation of Web pages and other.
Annotation The aim of the study field of study Teaching Informatics for Secondary Schools is to prepare qualified teachers for teaching informatics and related subjects taught at primary and secondary schools. Students deepen their theoretical knowledge and skills in the field of informatics (subjects of this type make up about 32% of the total number of subjects in the field of study) and especially acquire key skills and knowledge necessary for teaching informatics at primary and secondary schools (pedagogical, psychological subjects, subject didactics and pedagogical practice make up about 68% of the total number of subjects in the field of study).

Health requirements - u studentů s těžším zrakovým postižením - za předpokladu disponování vlastního spec. softwaru, s nímž může pracovat ve výuce
- u studentů neslyšících za předpokladu přítomnosti tlumočníka do znakové řeči - centrum není schopno technicky zajistit
- u studentů s postižením horních končetin - omezená dostupnost v případě postižení obou HK (četnost laboratorních cvičení)
- u studentů se specifickými poruchami učení - s výjimkou dyskalkulie

This guideline specifies the requirements for admission in a given academic year and is published on the FAI official board. The basic condition for admission to the master's study program is the successful completion of a bachelor's degree in a related study program.
