Educational goals The objectives of the studies are designed as an interdisciplinary field; most of the courses are focused on Information Technology, Computer Sciences, and Information Technology and Software Tools. This knowledge is then expanded to include topics from the field of Economics, Marketing, and the Presentation and Management of a company. The Faculty of Management and Economics and the Faculty of Multimedia Communications participate in ensuring course provision. The effectiveness of the proposed field of study was also confirmed in negotiations with the Industrial Council, created at FAI so as to ensure the closest possible contact with working practice. Industrial Council members are mostly representatives of the managements of companies.
Annotation Cílem bakalářského studijního oboru "Informační technologie v administrativě" je vybavit absolventa základními znalostmi ze všeobecného základu z oblasti informačních technologií a managementu. Dále dostatečnými profesními odbornými dovednostmi, které jsou orientovány na konkrétní činnosti spojené s chodem firmy na úrovni nižších pracovních pozicí managementu. Absolventi získají schopnosti profesionálně využívat nestandardních možností softwarových produktů a schopnosti analyzovat možnosti na jedné straně a potřeby na straně druhé při volbě vhodných produktů pro konkrétní činnosti. Dále absolvent získává základní ekonomické znalosti nutné pro pochopení ekonomického fungování malé či středně velké firmy včetně znalostí základních legislativních norem a v neposlední řadě základní znalosti a dovednosti marketingové a propagační činnosti.

Health requirements - u studentů s těžším zrakovým postižením - za předpokladu disponování vlastního spec. softwaru, s nímž může pracovat ve výuce
- u studentů neslyšících za předpokladu přítomnosti tlumočníka do znakové řeči - centrum není schopno technicky zajistit
- u studentů s postižením horních končetin - omezená dostupnost v případě postižení obou HK (četnost laboratorních cvičení)
- u studentů se specifickými poruchami učení - s výjimkou dyskalkulie
Graduate profile The aim of the study field "Information Technology in Administration" is to equip the graduate with general knowledge and sufficient professional skills that are oriented to specific practical activities in the office of any company. The graduate acquires the ability to use computer technology and available applications for common and specific tasks that he may encounter in practice and thanks to them he is able to master specific procedures and their solutions in the practical implementation of sub-projects and details. He also acquires the basic economic knowledge necessary to understand the economic functioning of a small or medium-sized company, including knowledge of basic legislative standards, as well as basic knowledge and skills of marketing and promotional activities.

The graduate will find employment in companies' creative and marketing departments, in companies' administrative functions, and in-state administration offices. His professional competence will enable him to lead smaller teams of people or actively participate in teams implementing corporate projects and projects in state administration.

Admission requirements The requirement for admission to study is the achievement of a full secondary or a full secondary vocational education (see § 48, paragraph 1 of the Act on Higher Education). Applicants prove it by submitting an officially certified copy of the graduation certificate, which the applicants deliver by post or deliver in person to the FAI Study Department no later than on the day of enrollment in the study. Foreign nationals who did not obtain their secondary education in the Czech Republic or the Slovak Republic shall prove it by submitting an officially certified copy of the nostrification clause pursuant to Decree No. 12/2005 Coll. Applicants - foreign nationals (except citizens of the Slovak Republic) who have graduated from foreign high schools or universities (except Slovak schools), prove their readiness to study in the Czech language by submitting an officially certified proof of the graduation exam or state exam in the Czech language or a certificate of Czech language. Applicants must deliver these documents no later than the date of enrollment in the study.
