Stručný obsah výuky: - vymezení základních pojmů (senior, senium, stáří, stárnutí), teoretické vymezení oboru sociální práce; - sociální události v seniorském věku (odchod do starobního důchodu, nemoc ve stáří, aj.); - specifika práce se seniory (omezení pohybového aparátu, komunikační schopnosti, nižší míra adaptace, aj.); - aktivizace seniorů; - sociální služby pro seniory; - praktické příklady řešené v praxi.
