Key learning outcomes | The aim of this doctoral study programme is to provide the scientific knowledge in the field of study, to ensure the development of research practice and development of a scientific or engineering personality. Mastering and applying specific applications of computational methods and knowledge of material properties and technological processes will lead to support for the design of polymer products from advanced materials and tools for their processing including simulations and model development. The doctoral study programme focuses mainly on fundamental research of the relationship between the structure, design and technological properties of functional materials based on polymers, composites, metals and ceramics. Due to the strong application potential, it is also expected to develop the acquired knowledge in solving common topics within the industry with an increased attention to computer support, automation, robotics and economic efficiency of production processes, tools and methods of evaluating parameters determining production quality. |
