Key learning outcomes The aim of this study program is to prepare students primarily for scientific and research academic activities. Due to its application to the field of tourism, its second objective is to educate graduates as experts in the extensive field of tourism, through the application of new research and development methods and tools for increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of e.g., administrative processes in relation to their integration in complex business systems, especially in service and hospitality companies. The aim is also to develop and intensively strengthen the ability to make independent decisions on the basis of critical evaluation of documents and critical discussion using professional reasoning to develop and strengthen professional language competencies, especially in English. Of course, there is the application of mathematical and statistical methods for solving research problems and their application. Emphasis is placed on the ability to independently solve a research task, the high-quality preparation of presentations and the publication of given outputs.
