Course content

1. Basic concepts and definitions, principles of interaction of organism and drugs, developmental stages of drugs. 2. Analgesics. 3. Central nervous system drugs - general anesthetics, sedatives and hypnotics. 4. Drugs of the central nervous system - psychopharmaceuticals, antiepileptics, anti-parkinson drugs and antimigraine preparations. 5. Drugs of the vegetative nervous system - adrenergics and antiadrenergics. 6. Drugs of the vegetative nervous system - cholinergics and anticholinergics. Myotropic spasmolytics. 7. Local anesthetics, myorelaxants, antitussives and expectorants. 8. Antiallergics and antihistamines. 9. Medicaments of circulatory system. 10. Medicaments of the digestive system. 11. Anti-infectious and anti-invasive substances. 12. Cytostatics. 13. Dermatology. 14. Methods of designing new drugs, good manufacturing practice.
