Course content
Seminars: - Respiratory diseases - somatological - pathological introduction, manifestations, medical history, examination methods (bronchitis, bronchopneumonia, chronic obstructive disease, bronchopulmonary respiratory insufficiency, asthma bronchial, bronchiectasis) - 2 hours - Heart and vascular diseases - somatological - pathological introduction, manifestations, medical history, examination methods (congenital and acquired defects of the heart and blood vessels, cardiac arrhythmias, CHD, inflammatory heart disease, hypertensive diseases, hypotension, phlebothrombosis, thrombophlebitis, TEN prevention). - Digestive system diseases somatological - pathological introduction, manifestations, medical history, examination methods (ulcer diseases and inflammatory changes of gastroduodenal, oesophageal varices, cholelithiasis, choledocholithiasis, pancreatitis, liver cirrhosis and liver failure, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, for ulcerative colitis, for ulcerative colitis, for ulcerative colitis) - 2 hours - Metabolic diseases - somatological - pathological introduction, manifestations, medical history, examination methods (diabetes mellitus including complications, nutritional disorders - obesity, malnutrition) - 2 hours - Urinary tract and kidney diseases somatological - pathological introduction, manifestations, medical history, examination methods (cystitis, glomerulonephritis, pyelonephritis, acute renal failure, haemodialysis) - 1 hour - Basic clinical manifestations and therapeutic procedures related to the problems of the endocrine system (hypothalamic-hypophyseal system, hypo- and thyroid hyperfunction, adrenal glands) - 2 hours - Basic clinical manifestations and therapeutic procedures related to the issue of blood diseases (anaemia, thrombocytopenia, leukaemia), blood donation - 2 hours. - Basic clinical manifestations and therapeutic procedures related to musculoskeletal disorders (arthrosis, arthritis, Bechterew's disease) - 1 hour - Basic clinical manifestations and therapeutic procedures related to infectious diseases (with viral hepatitis, mononucleosis, infectious diarrhoea, AIDS) - 1 hour - Basic terminology in gerontology and geriatrics - explanation of terms, risk of increased accident rate (falls), division of age, dementia, Alzheimer's disease - 1 hour Exercises: - Specifics of the nursing process in patients with cardiovascular disease (ischemic heart disease, hypertensive disease, TEN ad pulm), including education of patients - 1 hour. - Specifics of the nursing process in patients with respiratory diseases including specific inhalation therapy. Education of patients - 1 hour - Specifics of the nursing process in patients with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (gastroduodenal ulcer disease, oesophageal varices, cholelithiasis, choledocholithiasis, pancreatitis, liver cirrhosis, liver failure and liver encephalopathy), including education of patients - 1 hour. - Specifics of the nursing process in patients with diseases of the excretory system, including preparation for diagnostic examinations of the mentioned system. Education of patients. Specifics of care and psychosocial aspects in haemodialysis patients - 1 hour - Nursing interventions and problems of patients with diabetes mellitus including complications, sefmonitoring - 1 hour - Specifics of nursing process in patients with endocrine diseases, preparation for examination, dynamic functional tests - 1 hour. - Specifics of procedures in patients with blood diseases (anaemia, thrombocytopenia, leukaemia) - 1 hour. - Forms of care for the elderly at the end of life - peculiarities of access to the dying, pastoral care, ethics of communication with the survivors. Nursing interventions and problems of patients during the implementation of the nursing process - 1 hour
