Course content
|
Seminars: - History, importance, and provision of first aid. Integrated rescue system and its components. Legal aspects of first aid. Psychological aspects of first aid. Issues of DNR, DVP. - Intoxication, chemical damage. Electric shock. - Selected acute conditions of internal and surgical diseases. - Acute conditions in gynecology and obstetrics. - First aid procedures for rescuing a drowning person. Exercises: - Activation of the survival chain - communication with the Emergency Services dispatch center. - Practical training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation of children and adults. Use of AED in resuscitation - Handling the injured person, extrication of the injured person, transport techniques, and positioning. Treatment of fractures. - Practical training: Stopping bleeding. Treatment of wounds (including thermal and cold injuries). Injuries to the head, neck, spine, chest, and abdomen.
