Lectures: - Characteristics of living systems (substance composition of organisms) - 1 hour - Biomolecules and water (brief overview and their importance) - 1 hour - Organization of biological systems (living systems from a molecular perspective) - 1 hour - Biop General characteristics of biopolymers (importance, general principles, origin and spatial structure) - 1 hour - Min Amino acids (composition, structure and properties in living systems) - 2 hours - Proteins and peptides (importance, structure and properties) - 1 hour. - Biological function of proteins and properties of protein solutions - 1 hour. - Nucleic acids (nucleotides, structure, DNA, RNA) - 1 hour - High-molecular structures and biomembranes (components of organization, transport of substances) - 2 hours - Enzymes (general characteristics and classification, structure and forms of occurrence) - 1 hour - Enzy Enzyme activity and mechanism of action - 1 hour - Acid-base balance (ABR), material collection, types of ABR disorders, dif. Dg. disorders of ABR, ion metabolism. sodium, potassium - 2 hours Seminars: - Symptoms of blood diseases, propedeutics, medical history - 2 hours - Haematological examinations, blood donations, specifics - 2 hours - Anemia, transfusion - 1 hour - White blood cell disorders - 1 hour - Bood platelets, administration of platelets - 1 hour. - Coagulopathy - bleeding disorders, substitution with blood derivatives - 2 hours - Ag Coagulopathy - thrombotic disorders, thrombophilia, anticoagulant and antithrombotic treatment - 2 hours - Life threatening bleeding - 2 hours - Haematological disorders associated with pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium - 2 hours
