- Definitions and classification of diabetes and disorders of glucose tolerance - 1 hour - Specifics of care for women with diabetes in midwifery (screening, diagnostics and treatment of diabetes during pregnancy, checks of compensation of diabetes and midwifery monitoring) - 2 hours - Selfmonitoring: SMBG, CGMS, computer programs - 1 hour - Diet and physical load of a pregnant diabetic woman - 1 hour - Diagnostics and treatment methods in case of acute and late complications of diabetes - 1 hour - Insulin treatment, insulin preparations, aids and application of insulin - 1 hour - Educational programs for pregnant diabetic women - 1 hour
