Lectures: - Division of surgical branches. Specifics of work in the surgical department. Asepsis, antisepsis. - Preparation for surgery - 1 hour - Postoperative care. Postoperative complications. Preparing for emergency operation. Anaesthesia. - Basic surgery - 1 hour - Organ transplantation. Plastic surgery - 1 hour - Abdominal surgery - acute appendicitis, cholecystitis, pancreatitis, ileus. Bleeding into the digestive tube. Gastrointestinal perforation, peritonitis - 1 hour - Traumatology and orthopaedics. Head injury. Injuries to chest, ribs - 1 hour - Thyroid, lung surgery - 1 hour - Breast surgery. Urology - 1 hour - Oncological surgery - 1 hour Seminars: - Nurse's work on individual types of surgical workplaces. The work of a nurse in the operating room. Asepsis, antisepsis. Nursing process in a patient before surgery, intraoperative and postoperative - 2 hours - Problems of anesthesia - care of patient after anesthesia. Problems of pain after surgery - 1 hour - Wound care - 1 hour - Importance of parenteral nutrition in surgery. Nursing process in blood transfer - 1 hour - Nursing process in patients with acute appendicitis, cholecystitis, pancreatitis, intestinal obstruction, bowel hernia. Nursing process in patients with bleeding into GIT, peritonitis - 2 hours - Nursing process in a traumatologic patient - with head injury, consciousness disorders. Nursing process in a patient with chest, spine, spinal cord and pelvic injuries. Nursing process in patients after total replacement of large joints - 3 hours - Nursing process in patients after chest and lung surgery, thyroid gland - 1 hour - Nursing process in patients after breast surgery - 1 hour - Nursing process in a patient after surgery GIT. Stoma - 2 hours - Nursing process in a patient with urological disease - 2 hours
