Lectures: - Introduction to philosophy - Basic terms - 1 hour - Filozof Ancient philosophy - Early Greek philosophy, Socrates - 1 hour - Filozof Ancient philosophy - Plato, Aristotle and Poistonist schools - 2 hrs. - Filozof Medieval philosophy 1 - Patristics, scholastics - 1 hour - Medieval Philosophy - Humanism and Renaissance - 1 hour - Medieval philosophy - Descartes, Spinoza - 2 hours - Modern philosophy - Immanuel Kant - 2 hours - 20th century philosophy and leaders - Existentialism - 2 hours - 20th century philosophy and representatives - Phenomenology - 2 hours - 20th century philosophy and representatives - Hermeneutics - importance for midwifery - 1 hour Seminars: - Socrates and his maieutics. Plato - Parable of the Cave. Epikuros. Hippocrates and his ethical legacy - 2 hours - Philosophy of paradigm (Thomas Kuhn). Biotic convention. Philosophy of Holism - 2 hours - Philosophy of dying. Ethical aspects of dying and death care. The Charter of the Rights of the Dying. Code of -Ethics of Oncological Patients - 2 hours - Philosophy and ethics of palliative care. Ethical codes in relation to palliative care. Euthanasia. Ethical aspects of cancer patient / client care, case studies. Ethical Aspects of Hospice Care Development - Topical Questions - 2 hrs. - Sources of ethics. Subject, tasks, goals of ethics in nursing. Basic ethical principles in midwifery - 2 hours - Human dignity and its ethical dimension. Individual components of human dignity and their ethical dimension - 1 hour - Codes of Ethics - 2 hours - The process of developing patients' rights. Ethical aspects of child care. Declaration of the rights of the child. Rights of hospitalized child. Ethical aspects of listening and empathy - 2 hours
