The practical training takes place under the supervision of nurses (mentors, trainers) at outpatient and inpatient workplaces of hospitals focusing on the care of women, acute inpatient and intensive care, oncological and palliative care. It is also carried out in community care, including home, palliative and hospice care. Another part of the course is a supervision of the practical training by an internal supervisor. During the supervision, the issues of the practical training are discussed and the student receives support. The extent of block practical training in the 3rd year of the summer semester is 280 hours (7 weeks) of direct practical training in clinical conditions, 8 hours of practical training seminar and 14 hours of supervision per semester.
