Course content
- Basics of academic etiquette and ethics, academic titles and their writing (1 h). - Characteristics of individual types of written work: abstract, review, essay, case report, seminar work and papers (1 h). - Basic prerequisites for writing a thesis. Professional text and its content-thematic and linguistic-compositional structure. Copyright (1 h). - Form of written work at the ÚZV (characters, font, language, paper, margins, standardized page, scope of work, ensuring orientation in the text) (1 h). - Creating a PowerPoint presentation. Communication skills during the presentation. Ethical questions related to the presentation of work (1 h). - General principles of citation, CSN ISO 690 citation standard, rules for creating citations according to this standard. Electronic databases (1 h).
