Course content
Lectures Development of a healthy child - 1 hour. Basic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, clinical symptoms in pediatric clients with diseases of the respiratory system - 2 hours. Basic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, clinical symptoms in pediatric clients with diseases of the cardiovascular system - 2 hours. Basic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, clinical symptoms in pediatric clients with gastrointestinal diseases - 2 hours. Basic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, clinical symptoms in pediatric clients with blood diseases - 2 hours. Basic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, clinical symptoms in pediatric clients with urinary tract and kidney disease - 2 hours. Basic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, clinical symptoms in pediatric clients with immunoalterative disease and diseases of endocrine glands - 1 hour. Basic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, clinical symptoms in pediatric clients with infectious diseases - 2 hours. Basic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, clinical symptoms in pediatric clients with diseases of the musculoskeletal system - 2 hours. Basic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, clinical symptoms in pediatric clients with fever and convulsions - 1 hour. Basic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, clinical symptoms in pediatric clients with aspiration and intoxication - 1 hour. Basic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, clinical symptoms in pediatric clients with impaired consciousness - 1 hours. Handicap in childhood and adolescence, chronically ill child and his family, quality of life - 2 hours. Class practice Children's ward, arrangement and organization - 2 hours. Documentation, rights of the child - 2 hours. The first treatment of the newborn (exercises in the practical classroom) - 2 hours. Peculiarities of treating a newborn with low birth weight, weight - 1 hour. Nursing process in the above systemic diseases - 1 hour. Education and preparation for examination of children - 1 hour. Parent education - 1 hour. Nursing process in children with diseases of the urinary tract and kidneys - 2 hours. Nursing process in children with diseases with immunoalterative disease and diseases of endocrine glands - 2 hours. Nursing process in children with infectious diseases - 2 hours. Nursing process in children with musculoskeletal disorders - 2 hours. Special treatment of a child with fever and cramps - 1 hour. Nursing process in children with aspiration, intoxication - 1 hour. Nursing process in children with impaired consciousness - 2 hours. Family and its disorders - syndrome of abused, mistreated and neglected child, children in endangered environment - 1 hour. Internship, class practice at the children's ward - handling documentation, examination of the pediatric patient, or excursion / internship at the neonatal ICU - 3 hours.
