Course content
Seminars - History, importance and provision of first aid. Integrated rescue system and its components. Legal aspects of first aid. Psychological aspects of first aid. DNR - 3 hours - Prevention of injuries in children, adults and seniors. Intoxication, chemical damage. Electric shock - 2 hours - First aid procedures for rescuing a drowning person. Procedures of mountain medicine. Disaster and mass disaster medicine - 2 hours - Acute conditions of selected internal diseases. Acute conditions of selected surgical diseases. Acute conditions associated with pregnancy. Non-traumatic conditions - 3 hours. Class practice - Principles of crisis management in events threatening human life or health. Diagnosis of the situation. Activation of the survival chain - communication with the emergency services control center. Coordination of rescue action. Practical training of cardiopulmonary resuscitation of children and adults. Use of AED in resuscitation - 4 hours - Haemostasis. Wound treatment. Thermal injuries. Cold damage. Bandage technology. Injury to head, neck, spine, chest and abdomen. Allergic reaction - 2 hours. - First aid procedures for rescuing a drowning person. Procedures of mountain medicine. Disaster and mass disaster medicine - 2 hours - Handling the disabled, rescuing the disabled, transport techniques and positioning. Fracture treatment - 1 hour - Varia - according to requirements and specific orientation of students or excursion - 1 hour
