Seminars - Public health care as a science - 1 lecture. - An overview of historical development of the field in the Czech Republic and in the world - 1 lecture. - WHO - characteristics, overview of its basic objectives - 2 lectures. - Life quality - 2 lectures. - Social politics pillars - 1 lecture. - Most frequent illnesses and possible prevention - 2 lectures. - Theory of health and illness, definitions of health and illness, health determinants - 1 lecture. - Health care system - basic terms, organization structure and financing of health care institutions and services - 2 lectures. - Social security - general health insurance, social insurance (sickness insurance, pension insurance), state social support, social help (social care) - 2 lectures. Tutorial - Preventive medicine and liaison fields, health determinants, life and work conditions, lifestyle - 1 lecture. - Daily routine, shift work, personal hygiene, stress - 1 lecture. - Nutrition in illness prevention - 1 lecture. - Addictive substances - issue of smoking, alcohol, drugs - 1 lecture. - Living environment, inner environment of buildings, medical waste - 1 lecture. - Work hygiene, occupational disease, workplace risk, epidemiologically sensitive activities - 1 lecture. - Rules for nosocomial illnesses prevention - 1 lecture. - Hygienic and epidemiologic requirements for health institution operations - 1 lecture. - Social and biological factors affecting infectious diseases occurrence - 1 lecture. - Vaccination programs - 1 lecture.
