Seminars - Multiculturalism philosophy. Multiculturality as a historical and real phenomenon. Multicultural nursing, basic conceptual apparatus. - 1 lecture. - Application of culturally specific models used in transcultural nursing. Transcultural nursing model by Madeleine Leininger. Joyce Newman Giger's and Ruth Elaine Davidhizar's model. Josepha Campinha Bacote's model. - 2 lectures. - Culture competences and culture competence models according to Larry D. Purnell - 1 lecture. - Culture shock and its phases. Diagnoses of culture shock according to NANDA Int., Re-entry shock - 1 lecture. - - Characteristics of the biggest minorities in the Czech Republic. Specifics of nursing and communication with the biggest minorities in the Czech Republic - 2 lectures. - Ethnocentrism and its consequences in nursing.
