Course content
Lectures - Development of nursing as a scientific discipline, structuring the conceptual apparatus, metaparadigma of the field - 1 hour. - Conceptual model explanation, theory, conceptual model concepts - 2 hours - Definition of basic nursing terminology - 1 hour - Traditional model of nursing care - 1 hour - The most famous conceptual models and theories in nursing - 2 hours Seminars - Florence Nightingale and her concept of nursing care - 1 hour - Model of basic nursing care of Virginia Henderson and its use in practice - 1 hour - Model of functioning health of M. Gordon and its use in practice - 1 hour - Model of daily activities of Roper, Logan, Tierney and its use in practice - 1 hour - Dorothea Orem and the theory of self-care deficit and its use in practice - 1 hour - Madeleine Leininger and model of transcultural nursing and its use in practice - 1 hour - Comparison of selected nursing models / theories with focus on their specificities in clinical practical use - 1 hour
