Course content
- Introduction to the character, specifics and organization of work at the workplace of the practical training (internal departments, social care institutions, aftercare departments, homes for the elderly, etc.). - Working with the documentation in the department under the professional supervision of a nurse. - Performing nursing interventions under the professional supervision of a nurse. - Fulfilment of nursing interventions according to the valid norms and standards. - Implementation of the nursing process in patients at the particular workplace. - Cooperation in a multidisciplinary team, sharing information about patients. - Fulfilling semestral tasks, keeping track of accomplished tasks (logbook).

Knowledge
The student is able to recognize and participate in meeting the needs of the client and is able to manage theoretical and practical parts of basic diagnostic and therapeutic nursing interventions in the care of patients of all ages. Is able to observe the principles of health and safety and to prevent infection and transmission.
