Course content
Seminars - Definition of values, needs, self-sufficiency, absence of self-sufficiency, self-care deficit -1 hrs. - Classification of needs, Maslow's theory of needs. Characteristics of needs in terms of influencing diseases -1 hour - Pain, alleviation and removal. Evaluation of pain using evaluation techniques - 2 hours - Spiritual needs of healthy and ill people - their importance, possibilities of meeting these needs in medical facility -1 hours Class practice - Diagnostics of clients' self-care using measuring techniques. Possibilities of prevention and compensation of self-care deficit - 1 hours - Searching and meeting needs of hospitalized patients and clients of home care in the field of hygiene. Searching and meeting needs of hospitalized patients and home care clients in the area of movement and activity The meaning of a life story - 1 hours - Finding and meeting the needs of hospitalized patients and home care clients in the area of rest and sleep. Searching and meeting needs of hospitalized patients and home care clients in the area of nutrition -1 hours - Searching and meeting needs in hospitalized patients and home care clients in the field of breathing. Searching and satisfying needs of hospitalized patients and clients of home care in pain, nursing intervention in its alleviation and removal -1 hours. - Meeting the needs of multicultural patients in hospitals . Using cards for communication - 1 hour.
