Seminar - Beginning of nursing care: charity nursing, Christian nursing orders. Guardianship (1 hour). - Men in nursing from the perspective of history (1 hour). - Guardianship education. Nursing in the 19th century: The first nursing schools and their personalities, description of the work of a nurse (1 hour). - Professionalization of nursing mission (F. Nightingale, M. Seacoleová) (1 hour). - International Red Cross - history and personalities (J.H. Dunant), Red Cross in Czech lands (Alice Masaryková) (1 hour). - Nursing 1918-1945 in the world and Czechoslovakia. Higher social school in Prague. Personality of A. Masaryk. Development of nursing in Moravia (1 hour). - History of "Bať Hospital" in Zlín (1 hour). - Czechoslovakina nursing during the Second World War. Development in 1945-1948: Congress of certified nurses in 1946 and its importance (1 hour). - Development of social status of nurses (1 hour). - Presentation of the work by the student, evaluation by the teacher. Evaluation of the subject, completion (1 hour).
