Course content
- Principles of health and safety at work. - Structure of services within outpatient care (primary outpatient care, specialized outpatient care, stationary care), individual forms of nursing care and assistance, types of facilities. - Structure of hospital services and their specialized departments. - Organization of nurses' work in health care institutions, in primary outpatient care, in the nursing unit in the hospital. - Organization of nurses' work in aftercare departments, long-term care centres and other social medical facilities. - Safe communication in a medical facility, safe patient identification. - Verbal and non-verbal communication with the patient and their relatives. Cooperation with the patient's family. - Collaboration in a multidisciplinary team, effective communication and sharing client information with the emphasis on the protection of personal data (within the valid legislation). - Medical documentation - in general. - Basic nursing care. Practicing the collection of information about the patient (medical history), monitoring and recording subjective and objective symptoms. - Meeting the needs of the client / patient. - Nursing assessment - Assessment of client / patient self-sufficiency using measuring tools, intervention to support self-sufficiency. - Measurement and evaluation of physiological functions, dressing technique, drug administration in various forms. - Analysis of the practical training environment, identification of potential problem situations. - Analysis of the cooperation in a multidisciplinary team. - Analysis of entries in practical training log / practical training guide (completion of activities and tasks).
