Living with illness in time, patient's relationship to illness. 5. Categories of patients/clients from a psychological perspective. 6. Psychological issues of iatrogenesis. 7. The psychology of pain. 8. Requirements for paramedics in the paramedic-patient/client relationship. 9. Dying and death from a psychological perspective. Seminar topics: 1. Principles of professional behaviour. 2. Productive behaviour of a paramedic. 3. Unproductive behaviour of a paramedic. 4. Types of paramedics. 5. Non-adaptive personality traits of paramedics. 6. Patient reactions to illness and injury. 7. The impact of iatrogenesis on patients/clients. 8. Anxiety, fear, and feelings of inferiority in the work of paramedics. 9. Delivering bad news.
