Seminar topics: 1. Definition of ethics, basic philosophical categories. 2. Protection of human rights and human dignity. 3. Codes of ethics and prerequisites for their acceptance. 4. Patients' rights and their role in the humanisation of medicine. 5. The issue of abortion. The issue of assisted reproduction. 6. Children's rights. 7. Ethical aspects of caring for a sick child. 8. The ethics of dying and death. 9. Counselling for the bereaved. 10. The ethics of medical research.
