Course content
|
Lectures - Specification of the subject, disciplinary and interdisciplinary terminology (RZP, ICU, ARD, KJ)- 1 hour - Basic therapeutic and nursing steps for children and adults with a serious breathing disorder. A module of artificial lung ventilation - 1 hour - Basic therapeutic steps for children and adults with a blood circulation disorder, cardiostimulation, defibration - 1 hour - Basic therapeutic steps for children and adults with a serious disorder of internal environment. Complete intra venous nutrition - 1 hour - Basic therapeutic steps for children and adults with symptoms of multi-organ failure and polytrauma - 1 hour - Oddities of intensive care for acute infectious diseases and intoxication - 1 hour - Basic therapeutic steps with children and adults with serous disorder CNS. Care for cadaveric doner. Ethical difficulties of intensive care (prognosis, donorship, principles of care for the critically ill - 1 hour. Class Practice - Characteristics of a care unit, requirements for nurses' education, specifics of nursing and nurse's work at ARD and ICU - 1 hour - Admission of an ill or wounded patient at the Emergency and ARD/ICU - 1 hour - Nursing documentation at the ARD/ICU departments. Score systems - 1 hour - Care and hygiene for respiratory tracts, a module of an artificial lung ventilation; an intubation of the ill with help of endotracheal or nasal cannula and tracheal intubation, laryngeal mask, tracheostomy cannula- 3 hours - Basic medication influencing cardiovascular system's activity. Preparation, the actual course and care for the ill after a planned cardioversion. Specific nursing activities at cardiology ICU - 1 hour - Infusion therapy and its diversification. Complete intravenous nutrition. Specifics of nursing care for providing enteral nutrition - 2 hours - - Specifics of nursing care for acute infectious diseases and intoxication; probing and stomach irrigation. Taking of biological material for toxicology examination - 1 hour - Oddities of intensive nursing care for wounded CNS. Specifics of nursing care for patients with implemented ICP probes - 1 hour - Specific nursing care for cadaveric donor - 1 hour - Training at ARD and ICU departments - 3 hours
