Course content
Lectures - Diseases of the endocrine system (pathophysiology, examination methods, terminology). General clinical manifestations, therapy. Clinical manifestations, treatment of diseases of the thyroid gland, parathyroid glands - 3 hours. - Clinical manifestations, treatment of diseases of the adrenal glands, pituitary gland - 2 hours. - Blood diseases (patho-physiological introduction, anamnesis, examination methods, terminology). General clinical manifestations, therapy in blood diseases (transfers of blood derivatives, bone marrow transplantation - donation, sternal puncture) - 2 hours. - Clinical manifestations, treatment of patients with anemia, leukemia and platelet disease - 2 hours. - Allergies - 2 hours. - Diseases of the musculoskeletal system (patho-physiology, examination methods, terminology). General clinical manifestations, therapy in diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Clinical manifestations, treatment in patients with degenerative diseases of the joints and spine - 3 hours. - Clinical manifestations, treatment in patients with inflammatory diseases of the joints, spine and bone marrow - 2 hours. - Infectious diseases (pathophysiology, examination methods, anamnesis). Clinical manifestations and treatment in clients with viral hepatitis - 3 hours. - Clinical manifestations and treatment in patients with advanced AIDS. Clinical manifestations and treatment in patients with infectious mononucleosis and diarrheal disease - 2 hours. Class practice - Specifics of nursing care for patients with endocrine diseases, the role of the nurse in the examination of patients - 1 hour. - Nursing process in patients with endocrine disease (hypo, hyperthyroidism) - 2 hours. - The role of the nurse in preparing patients for examinations related to blood diseases. Assistance in the application of blood derivatives, education - 1 hour. - Nursing interventions and problems of patients with anemia, leukemia - 2 hours. - Specifics of nursing care and approach to patients with allergic reactions - 1 hour. - Nursing process in patients with diseases of the musculoskeletal system, including education of patients / clients. Compensation aids - 1 hour. - Nursing interventions, including health education in patients with degenerative diseases of the joints and spine - 1 hour. - Nursing interventions, including health education in patients with inflammatory diseases of the joints and spine, with inflammatory disease of the bone marrow - 1 hour. - Specifics of nursing care for patients with communicable diseases (barrier approach). Complexity of approach to patients, including education - 1 hour. - Nursing interventions in patients / clients with viral hepatitis - 1 hour. - Specifics of nursing care and approach to patients / clients with advanced AIDS - 1 hour. - Specifics of nursing care for patients / clients with infectious mononucleosis and diarrheal disease - 1 hour.
