Course content
Lectures Somatological-pathological introduction, manifestations, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the digestive tract. In particular: - Oesophageal diseases (achalasia, oesophageal diverticula, reflux oesophagitis, hiatal hernia, oesophageal varices) - 2 hours. - Gastritis, gastroduodenal ulcer - 1 hour. - Biliary colic, cholelithiasis, choledocholithiasis, pancreatitis - 2 hours. - Hepatic cirrhosis, hepatic failure, hepatic encephalopathy - 1 hour. - Enteritis, proctocolitis - 1 hour. - Idiopathic intestinal inflammation - 2 hours. - Polyposis of the digestive tract - 1 hour. Somatological-pathological introduction, manifestations, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the excretory system. In particular: - Urethritis, cystitis, ureteritis, glomerulonephritis, pyelonephritis - 2 hours. - Nephrotic and nephritic syndrome - 1 hour. - Acute renal failure - 1 hour. Somatological-pathological introduction, manifestations, diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the internal environment, eating disorders and diabetes mellitus. Specifically: - Diabetes mellitus including complications - 2 hours. - Dyslipidemia, hyperlipidemia - 1 hour. - Eating disorders - obesity, malnutrition - 2 hours. - Disorders of the internal environment - 2 hours. Class practice - The role of the nurse in endoscopic methods - types of individual endoscopic examinations and therapeutic methods - 1 hour. - Special procedures during endoscopies - biopsy, polypectomy, papillosphincteromy, sclerotization of oesophageal varices - 2 hours. - Preparation of patients for endoscopic examination methods, assistance, nursing care for clients after the operation, care for instruments and instruments - 1 hour. - Specifics of the nursing process in patients with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (gastroduodenal ulcer, oesophageal varices, cholelithiasis, choledocholithiasis, pancreatitis, liver cirrhosis, liver failure and liver ensephalopathy), including patient education - 2 hours. - Specifics of the nursing process in patients with enteritis, proctocolitis, idiopathic intestinal inflammation. Health education and education of patients - 2 hours. - The role of the nurse in special collection of biological material (liver and kidney biopsy, puncture, etc.), communication with the patient, handling of the collected material - 1 hour. - Specifics of the nursing process in patients with diseases of the excretory system (cystitis, glomerulonephritis, pyelonephritis, acute renal failure), including patient education - 2 hours. - Specifics of a care and psychosocial aspects in hemodialysis patients - 2 hours. - Specifics of a care and psychosocial aspects of diseases of the internal environment and eating disorders. Patient education - 1 hour.
