Course content
Provision of nursing care in the structure of outpatient care, preventive care, principles of hygiene-epidemiological regime (40 h). Provision of nursing care, identification of the most common health limitations and diseases in the structure of residential services of health and social facilities, according to the schedule of contractual workplaces (160 h). Focus of the block semester practice (list of specific nursing activities - see logbook): -Safe communication in primary, outpatient and social health care, safe patient identification. -Verbal and non-verbal communication with the patient/client and their relatives. Cooperation with the patient/client's family. -Collaboration in a multidisciplinary team, effective communication and sharing of client information with an emphasis on personal data protection (within the framework of applicable legislation). -Maintenance of medical records in the provision of primary, outpatient and social health care. -Practical solutions for basic nursing care. Training in collecting information about the patient/client (history), assessing the patient/client from the nurse's perspective, monitoring and recording subjective and objective symptoms. -Assessment of the client's/sick person's self-sufficiency using measurement tools, interventions to promote self-sufficiency. -Measurement and evaluation of physiological functions, dressing technique. -Meeting the needs of the client/sick person. Reflexe: -Analysis of the environment of block semester practice 1, identification of possible problem situations (2 h). -Collaboration in a multidisciplinary team, interpersonal relationships, mentor/trainer guidance (2 h). -Collection of records in the practice diary/practice guide (completion of activities, elaboration of tasks) (4 h). Seminar: -Preparation of block semester practice (securing and scheduling of clinical workplaces, updating requirements for the smooth running of the block semester practice and its reflection 1, OSH training current to the academic year) (8 h).
