Course content
- Social work as a science and profession, the position of social work in the system of sciences. - Social work from the point of view of scientific knowledge. - Historical development of social work and its methods. - The needs of the client and the support of his independence, forms of help on the way to change in the use of his capacities and resources. Intervention plans. - Basic terms and classification of social work methods from various aspects. - Crisis intervention. - Mediation and probation. - Social work with persons with medical disabilities. - Social work with abused, abused and neglected children and their families. - Social work with people with mental illness. - Social work with the elderly. - Social work with drug users. - Social work with victims of violence. - Social work with the unemployed. - Social work with people in prison. - Social work with homeless people. - Social work with migrants and refugees. - Work with case reports.
