Course content
|
Seminars - International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF). Specifics of care for people with physical disabilities and after mutilating procedures, use of assistive devices, and creating a supportive environment in their own social setting - Specifics of care for patients after outpatient surgery in their own social environment. - Specifics of care for patients after surgery discharged to their own social environment. - Specialized care for patients with diabetes mellitus in their own social environment (nurse assessment including risks, planning, education, prevention). - Specifics of care and complications in obese patients in home settings and hospice care. - Creating conditions for hygiene and epidemiological regime in home and hospice care, prevention of transmission of serious viral and antibiotic-resistant diseases (MRSA, gram-negative ESBL infections, VRE, viral infections such as influenza, COVID-19, hepatitis, etc., their complications and consequences), quarantine, isolation, barrier precautions, reporting of infectious diseases. Exercise - Specialized nursing care for clients with consequences of severe traumatic brain injury, impaired consciousness, apallic syndrome. - Specialized nursing care for clients with consequences of severe spinal injury/degenerative spinal disease. - Specialized nursing care for clients with complicated traumas, fractures, and degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system (spine, pelvis, limbs, joints, consequences of severe burns). - Specialized nursing care for clients with gastrointestinal tract diseases (diseases of the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines, liver, pancreas, functional disorders, nonspecific intestinal inflammations). Nutritional support for gastrointestinal diseases in home, palliative, and hospice care. - Specialized nursing care for clients with kidney and urinary tract diseases (kidney infections, kidney failure, urolithiasis, tumors, complications associated with urinary stasis, severe urinary retention and its causes) in home, palliative, and hospice care.
