Lectures - Review of concepts in pharmacology. Clinical pharmacology and pharmacotherapy. Basic pharmacological concepts, legal regulations. Drug record, pharmacopoeia, SPC information, work with information sources about drugs, adverse and toxic effects of drugs. - Pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, ATC classification of drugs, specifics of pharmacotherapy with regard to age. - Dosage forms, specific forms of drug administration, interactions, adverse effects. - Selected drug groups and their use (blockers, nootropics, antineoplastic and immunomodulatory drugs, anti-infective drugs). - Selected drug groups and their use (e.g. opiates, analgesics, psychotropic drugs, antidepressants, anxiolytics, sedatives, antiphlogistics, corticosteroids. - Selected drug groups and their use (various). Seminars - Specifics of administration of selected drug groups (drugs affecting the respiratory system and cardiovascular system). - Specifics of administration of selected drug groups (drugs affecting the GIT, urogenital system). - Specifics of administration of selected drug groups (drugs affecting the nervous system, musculoskeletal system, sensory organs). - Specifics of administration of selected drug groups (cytostatics, antitumor therapy). - Specifics of administration of selected drug groups (antidiabetics, insulin therapy, corticosteroids, etc.). - Specifics of administration of selected drug groups (antiinfectives, dermatology, etc.). - Specifics of administration of selected drug groups (various).
