Content of subject: - Definition of basic terminology - disabled person, theories, models, typologies, International classification of functional abilities, disability and health. - Basics and specifics of social work with people with health disabilities. - Legislative conditions of persons with a health handicap in the Czech Republic. Help for people with health disabilities from the EU and other countries. - Social services for people with a health disadvantage. - Unfavourable social situation of the user of social services and the possibilities of its solution: work with case studies. - The concept of integrated rehabilitation for persons with a health disadvantage. - Ethics and communication with a person with a health handicap. - Examples of good practice.
