Course content
Characteristics of family policy. Retirement Policy. Characteristics and significance of the health policy of the state. Employment Policy. Education policy. Housing policy. Top EU bodies (European Commission, Council of the EU, European Parliament). Social policy of the European Union. Current issues of social policy. Definition of basic demographic concepts. Sources of demographic data. Basic demographic structure of the population. Social policy response to future demographic forecasts. Issues of poverty and social exclusion. Pro inclusive policy and its application in the Czech Republic and individual areas of social policy.
