Students are able to explain the knowledge of social science subjects such as psychological disciplines, sociology, ethics, philosophy and pedagogy, the nature and regularities of human behavior and behavior in the context of health and disease. Students demonstrate knowledge and skills acquired during their studies in the following areas: - general psychology and pathopsychology, personality psychology, developmental, social and health psychology; - ontogenetic development in relation to health and disease, manifestations of typical and atypical behavior and behavior of man in these situations; - psychosomatic connections between health and illness, human behavior in hazardous situations that threaten his / her health; - fundamentals of sociology, philosophy and ethics, in application to medical practice; - human behavior in social relations, knowledge about health and disease from a sociological point of view, about the roles and behavior of a client and a health care professional in the health care system, about social relations - a client, his family and health care team, about social influences influencing health, about social consequences of diseases at their different stages; - human behavior in relation to his / her views on life, death, health and disease, in relation to the hierarchy of values of a healthy and ill person; - ethically justified and unethical behavior of a health care professional, his / her influence on the client's behavior, experiencing his / her particular life situation, hospitalization and in case of a serious illness; - pedagogy and its application to nursing practice; pedagogical phenomena and processes in nursing practice; - behavioral sciences in the context of a holistic approach to the protection of human health, to care for its needs in both health and disease situations. |
