Course content
- Specific features of children's literature and relation to the developmental stages of children's reading. - Basic concepts and functions of literature for children. - The content structure of the literary work. - Genre composition of literary work - Children's reader and children's readership, children's aspect in children's literature. - Issues of literature for children from the second half of the 19th century to the present - Comics, cartoon series and picture book in the development of literature for children from the beginning to the present. - Folk verbs in relation to literature for children. - Characteristics of poetry for children (genres, dominating verse construction) and its development. - Author's fairy tale. - Story prose with a child hero. - Adventure literature for youth. - The development of prose with a girl's heroine/boyish hero. - The problem of triviality in literature for children and youth
