Course content
- The importance of ICT in primary education. - History of computers. - Basic PC components. - Peripherals. - Operating system. - Information, data, security. - Basic application software. - Viruses, antivirus protection. - Hardware (HW) - computer equipment, from the processor, through the monitor to the printer. - Software (SW) - computer software: firmware, operating system (OS), applications. - Graphic, audio, network communication. - Desktop computer, Laptop, Netbook, Tablet PC, PDA and types of modern technologies. - Internet, web interfaces and their use. - Prevention of diseases associated with the use of ICT. - Educational area Information and communication technologies in primary education.
