Course content

- Children's interpretation of selected topics and terms, analysis of observation, children's naive theories. - Pedagogical strategies for work on the first level of primary school (organization forms, methods, tools). - Classical pedagogical strategies versus new trends in didactics and their application in practice. - Field trip, scientific methods of education of natural sciences. - Alternative models of education. - Examples of alternative approaches in relationship to learning social facts. - Natural sciences project, project education in education of natural sciences. - Cooperative, group, and project education. - Cooperative, group, and project education of a selected topic from education of natural sciences. - Research education and teacher strategies.
