Course content
-Basic concepts of Euclidian geometry (point, segment, straight line, semi -straight line, polyline). -Triangle and its properties, plane, half-plane, relative position of lines and panes. -Geometric relations of incidence, order, congruence, parallelism. Convex and non-convex sets. Convex and non-convex angles. -Round, circle, ball, ball surface, arc of circle, polygon, tetragon, parallelogram. -Bodies. Free parallel projection. Networks of geometric bodies. -Comparing line segments, line segment operations. Congruence of angles and triangles. Comparing angles and operations with angles. Congruent displays in plane - identity, axis symmetry, centre symmetry, displacement, rotation. Composition of congruent displays in plane, congruence group. - Measure of line segment and angle. Measurement units of segments and angles. Measure of a planar formation. Circumference and area of rectangle and square. Length of circle. Use of square network. Measure of spatial formation. Volume of bodies. Metric relations among geometric formations. Construction tasks. - Axiomatic system. Models of Euclidian and non-Euclidian geometry. Historical notes.
