Course content
- History of writing and literature. - Teaching methods of reading from a historical perspective, teaching methods of writing from a historical perspective. - Analytical-synthetic method in teaching elementary reading and writing. - Genetic and global method in teaching elementary reading and writing. - Qualitative and quantitative elements of single-stroke linear writing. - Comenia Script - description and analysis. - The issue of laterality. - The issue of reading literacy in the elementary classroom. - Deficits of partial functions and their influence on reading and writing in the elementary classroom. - Traditional and non-traditional enrollment in primary education. - Legislation of school maturity and readiness, the issue of school postponement.
