Course content
Analysis of students' preconceptions in relation to the course topics. Psychology of learning. The relationship between learning and other mental processes and functions. Learning styles. Self-regulated learning. Psychological aspects of education. Working with rewards and punishment. Motivation in educational situations. Influencing children's cognitive and achievement motivation. The teacher. Psychological aspects of the teacher's personality in preschool education. The teacher's social skills and their development. Reflective techniques in a teacher's work. Self-regulation. Mental hygiene in the work of a preschool teacher. The school class as a social group. The psychosocial climate of the classroom. The school as a social institution. The psychosocial climate of the school. Selected socially pathological phenomena (bullying, CAN syndrome - Child Abuse and Neglect).
