Course content
- Introduction to writing a diploma thesis. - Presentation of the basic approaches in social pedagogy research. - Development of a diploma thesis proposal (selection of the research topic, justification of the topic, narrowing of the topic, formulation of research objectives and research questions, theoretical background, choice of research type and its justification, definition of variables and hypotheses in quantitative research, triangulation method in qualitative research, selection of the research sample, selection of appropriate research methods/techniques, plan for processing qualitative or quantitative data, intended contribution, literature and other sources used, preparation of appendices, e.g., questionnaire, observation sheet, etc.). - Defense of diploma thesis proposals.
