Course content
Basic terminology: social work, field social work, harm reduction, public health, low-threshold services. Case finding in field social work, initial contact. Field social work in the context of the Social Services Act. Competencies of field workers and field social workers. Field social work with people who use drugs. Field social work with families living in socially excluded localities. Field social work with homeless people. Field social work with people engaged in paid sex work. Ethics of field social work.
