Biological foundations of personality. Personality formation in social interactions. The relationship between dispositions and environment. Possibilities of personality formation. Selected components of personality. Temperament. Intelligence, ability, cognitive style (classical and modern theories of intelligence). Motivation. Models of motivational dynamics. Self-concept, self-awareness, self-regulation. Selected authors and their conceptions of personality. Psychoanalysis and derived theories. H. Sullivan, H. Sullivan, H. Sullivan, H. Fromm, E. H. Erikson. Humanistic psychology, existential analysis: C. R. Rogers, K. Goldstein, A. H. Maslow, V. E. Frankl. Behaviorism. F. Skinner, J. T. Dollard and N. E. Miller. The Lynx approach. G.
