Course content
Critical thinking and methods of working with texts. Intellectual standards of critical thinking. Basic terminology and concepts related to working with scholarly sources. Classification of documents. Searching information sources and conducting search (retrieval) activities. Specialized information resources. Databases accessible through the UTB Library (licensed, open-access, electronic journals, catalogues). Citations and referencing.
