Course content
The written exam in form of an essay on a given topic is written in the German language, it must meet the content, stylistic and formal requirements which are valid in the academic environment, including the usage of technical language in the field of economy (Wirtschftsdeutsch). 1. Fictive company (developing a business plan) The text of the written exam is based on the subject of Business Economics, within which the students were given a team task "to start own company". The student describes all the steps which they need to take when starting a business (a plan, market research, organizational and legal actions etc.) and for proper functioning of the company. 2. Company activities on the market The text of the written exam is focused on an introduction of a company operating on the Czech / German market. Creating an overview of its legal form, structure, business area, products, ways of advertising, etc. 3. Services The text of the written exam is focused on a company providing services (e.g., bank, insurance company). The student describes activities of selected institutions, where they should also include the theoretical knowledge about the functioning and structure of the services, bank system, commercial bank, payment system, the role of banks in the economy, funding, etc. 4. The process of handling orders The text of the written work describes a specific process of order processing from demand to payment in a particular company. In this context, the student will clarify the function, structure and purpose of the Terms and Conditions. 5. The current development in the commercial / business sector Students prepare "a piece of news" relating to the business / finance / marketing / management, etc., from various sources. They will interpret this information in the form of own text with commentary and explanation of selected terms and foreign words in the text (the theoretical frame of the work), etc.

Successful completion of the subjects N3OJ1 (topics of the course are: company presentations, internal structure and organization of the company, the business community, environmental protection), N4OJ2 (topics of the course: trading from product manufacture to its delivery to customers, types of business correspondence, transport, types of contracts, business conditions, human resources) and N5NOF (subject topics: marketing, management, finance).
