The student has knowledge about the epochs of German, Austrian and Swiss literature, and she/he is able to evaluate texts critically, to interpret literary works and to identify the typical features of an epoch. The student acquires mastery of intercultural competence, and is able to compare the Austrian, Swiss and Czech society and culture.
