Course content
- Terminology of Stylistics. The normative and individual Stylistics. Macro-stylistics. - Style-values and style-effects. Pragmatic and structuralist aspects of the Eroms theory - Methods of producing texts. - Characteristics of the particular non-artistic functional style (the language of science, everyday speech, the language of media, of advertising, the language of legal communications). - Sociolinguistics. - Text linguistics - Pragmalinguistics - The Said and the Intended. Grice and the Eroms style theory - The linguistic morphologic and syntactic devices, style figures - The hermeneutic style conception, Schleiermacher and Frank
