Course content
- Professional language (lexical, grammatical, pragmatic and semantic specifics) - Terminology from the economic field, types of companies, legal form of society. - Terminology from the sphere of production and services. - Introduction of the selected company, compilation of a program for a foreign visit. - Internal structure and organization in the company, departments and sections, competencies in the company. - Graphs and diagrams, presentation of development trends (turnover, sales, prices, number of employees). - Terminology from the field of legal forms of companies. - Management report (vocabulary: income, profit, loss, economic result, etc.) - Terminology in the field of environmental protection and occupational safety. - Telephone communication with customers, use of modern means of communication. - Principles of corporate communication via e-mail and classic letter (selected texts).
