Course content
1. Injection molding process. 2. Polymers. 3. Product design produced by injection molding. 4. Defects of molded parts and their corrections including after treatment of injection molded products. 5. Design of injection mold. 6. Cold runner system. 7. Hot runner system. 8. Demolding and ejection of parts from injection molds. 9. Heating and cooling systems of injection molds. 10. Injection molds for parts with threads. 11. Injection molds with sliders. 12. Removing of left over cold runner. Venting. 13. Tools materials. 14. Production and testing of injection molds. Manipulation and storage, reparations and maintenance of injection molds. Calculations and marking of molds.
